honoring honesty

in our country honesty comes and goes
and sometimes lies and deceit still flows
out of that hole below our nose
but truth is but for us to choose
believing falsities can make the masses lose
their intuition
their ability to distinguish between honesty and falsity
their heart
their mind
their soul is in jeopardy;
when entrenched by lies
that are working tuff to disguise truth
which can be neglected and should forever be protected
when either a turd sandwich or a giant douche are elected
who do you think is effected?
and why do we all hold trust in the fed?
i reserve the right to say fuck the fed
as much i reserve the right to choose when i go to bed.
let's let honesty ring true
and make sure you know when honesty's not with you.
it tends to stick by your side
unless you try to take yourself or others for a ride
just because you seek truth doesn't mean it will hide
