Earth as it tilts towards tyranny

The earth, our home, is by all means the pinnacle of possibilities (at least that we know of). It is a shame, though, that we have thrown out morality and judgment when it comes to our natural and un-natural worlds. See, they fight to not coexist but they overlap more than most would know or want to see. What was once a world full of plentiful seas and prosperous lands is now a world of destruction and fear and this came from our hands? It is only the masses that shift with the elite and do what the elite wants that moves this culture to unfounded precedence’s. This country went from a country that obviously struggled with racism, war, taxes, and many things, some of which we still struggle with today and others that we struggle more with today (or we've just given up in some regards).
Why is it that we repeatedly listen to the same people who got us directly into this mess and who stand to fully benefit in large sums of capital? More money has been made off of war profiteering than any other business venture in the history of mankind. Yet that isn't even the biggest atrocity that haunts my lifetime (1990). Not only was there more money than you can imagine made by big business and lost by you and I and future Americans but what followed the 9/11 events were disgusting, repulsive, and by definition of the word; un-patriotic. We not only stood to see the biggest economic crash in American history but we lost our rights and freedoms right with it. Sometime will have to be the time to awaken from this madness, so how about now? Let's band together and demand the questions be answered and ask why we had to ask them.
